We allow a maximum of 31 children per day.

Are you open in the school holidays?

We’re open during the school holidays; however, we’re closed for four weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.

When should I enrol my child?

As soon as possible! Climb has a waitlist, so the sooner you contact us the better. Enrol now to secure your child’s place.

How many days do you recommend my child attending?

We have found that children who attend at least two days a week settle more quickly and confidently. Depending on our availability, some parents choose to send their child just one day a week, while other children are with us for more days.

Does my child need to be toilet trained?

Yes, all children must be toilet trained.

If my child is absent, do I still need to pay the fees?

Yes, if your child is absent for any reason (e.g. sickness, personal or public holidays), the normal fee is still payable. Fees are not charged over the four-week Christmas/New Year period when we are closed.

What should my child wear?

Please dress your child in clothing that is comfortable and protects them from the sun.

Do I need to pack food or is it provided?

Parents are asked to bring a healthy snack box for their child’s morning tea and a packed lunch, as well as one piece of fruit each day (to be shared).

Is Climb allergy aware?

Yes. We do not allow nuts in our pre-kindy, including muesli bars or sandwiches made with peanut butter or Nutella.

Is it possible to start at Climb part-way through the year?

We fill all places each January, however vacancies sometimes arise during the year for various reasons. If this occurs, we contact the next person on the waitlist to offer a position.

How long is the waitlist?

You are welcome to contact us at any time to check your position. Please also let us know if your contact details change.

What happens if my child finds it difficult to settle?

Our head educator will liaise with you to discuss strategies to help your child settle. If your child does not settle, two weeks’ notice is required and a refund of the remaining fees will be reimbursed.

Once I have submitted an Expression of Interest Form, when will I know if I am offered a position?

If we have a vacancy, we will contact you within two working days if we have a vacancy.

What can I expect from my child when they finish Climb?

It’s our mission to deliver exceptional education and care for preschool aged children to prepare them for the successful transition to school. As such, we have a holistic approach to education and care that nurtures confident, capable learners who are ready to start school when the time comes.

Does my child get the opportunity to sleep if they need to?

Yes, we have an afternoon siesta session – a time to read, rest, relax and/or have a snooze on our pillows.
